Devonshire Wessex’s commitment to philanthropy in the Philippines is deeply rooted in the longstanding admiration and respect our Chairman holds for the Filipino people, culture, and national values. In recognition of his support and commitment to the ideals of Dr José Rizal, our Chairman was honoured to be invested as a Knight of the Knights of Rizal in 2019, before being elevated to the rank of Knight Officer in 2025.
Inspired by the principles of service, education, and nation-building championed by Rizal himself, Devonshire Wessex is committed to supporting initiatives across the Philippines that create meaningful and lasting social impact. Our philanthropic focus includes increasing access to educational opportunities for people of all backgrounds — with a particular emphasis on youth education as an investment in the future leaders of the nation — supporting food and community welfare initiatives, and assisting projects spearheaded by the headquarters and local chapters of the Knights of Rizal.
Through these efforts, Devonshire Wessex seeks to contribute positively to communities across the Philippines while strengthening the enduring friendship between our organisations and the Filipino people.
