Commonwealth Positivity

Commonwealth Positivity (CP) is the trading name of The Devonshire Wessex Group’s non-profit organisation committed to supporting British charities delivering their projects within economically developing countries of the Commonwealth of Nations, increasing cultural awareness among the peoples of the Commonwealth, and supporting pan-Commonwealth Non-Government Organisations (NGOs).

The Commonwealth brings together nations from across the world in a voluntary community that is present on each continent and counts 2.4 billion individuals from 56 countries as members. The Commonwealth is administered by the Commonwealth Secretary-General (and the Commonwealth Secretariat) under the non-political leadership of His Majesty King Charles III as Head of the Commonwealth.

Our Mission in support of the ideals of the Commonwealth is delivered via our engagement programs.

As the non-profit of Devonshire Wessex founded in 2016 and dedicated to supporting philanthropic projects within the Commonwealth of Nations, all income generated is used exclusively for the successful delivery of our mission.

Commonwealth Positivity has three primary philanthropic engagement areas namely:

Organising educational and informative webinars focused on increasing mutual awareness of Commonwealth Countries and the British charities that are working on the ground in the country being featured in each webinar;
Organising educational, informative, and networking in-person events designed to increase awareness of a Commonwealth Country, promote cultural understanding, promote small international development charities operating within the country, and facilitate networking opportunities for attendees;
Operating a pro-bono online portal dedicated to cost-reduction and enhanced resource access for small international development charities whose geography focu is on economically developing Commonwealth Countries,

The philanthropic activities and therefore the overall charitable mission of Commonwealth Positivity is financed by a combination of:

Yearly donation from the Devonshire Wessex Group (core funding);
Sponsorship and ticket sales from both in-person and webinars hosted throughout the year;
Sponsorship Of the small international development charities portal by corporate entities.
